Acceptance of Terms
By using Robot Goose, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to agree to these terms and use Robot Goose.
Service Description
Robot Goose is an AI-powered family assistant accessible via Telegram, integrated with Google Calendar. It helps you manage shopping lists, tasks, and calendar events through natural conversation.
Account and Access
You must have a Google account to use Robot Goose. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Each account is associated with one workspace.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the service or use it in a way that disrupts others.
- Attempt to access other users' data or workspaces.
- Use the service for any illegal purpose.
License and Intellectual Property
Your content (events, tasks, messages) remains yours. By using Robot Goose, you grant DeMartini Studios LLC a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, process, store, and transmit your content solely as necessary to provide and improve the service. This license ends when you delete your account.
DeMartini Studios LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Robot Goose for your personal use in accordance with these terms. Robot Goose's software, design, and branding belong to DeMartini Studios LLC.
Third-Party Services
Robot Goose integrates with Google Calendar, Telegram, and AI services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms.
Billing and Cancellation
Paid features are billed as automatically renewing subscriptions processed by Stripe. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period and you will be charged the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from within the app or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for partial billing periods. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice before any price increases take effect. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@robotgoose.com.
Usage & Turns
Each Workspace has a monthly allocation of “turns.” A turn is consumed each time a message or attachment is submitted to the AI assistant for processing, regardless of whether the assistant produces a visible response. Image attachments consume two turns. PDF attachments consume two turns per page. All members of a Workspace's linked group share the same turn allocation. Unused turns do not carry over between billing periods. Monthly turn allocations reset at the start of each billing period.
The assistant receives all messages in the group but does not process every message with AI. A turn is only consumed when a message is sent to the AI for processing. The assistant activates when it detects a relevant message and enters a listening period during which all messages are processed by the AI and consume turns, including messages that result in no visible response. The listening period ends when the assistant determines the conversation is no longer relevant and no actions are pending. The criteria for activation and deactivation may change over time. Turns are also counted if processing is interrupted due to service limitations.
AI-Generated Content
Robot Goose uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and perform actions on your behalf. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any information or actions produced by the assistant before relying on them. Robot Goose is not a substitute for professional advice, including legal, medical, financial, or other expert guidance.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees of uptime, accuracy, or uninterrupted access.
Limitation of Liability
DeMartini Studios LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Total liability is limited to the amounts you have paid (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DeMartini Studios LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law survive termination.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice within the app before the changes take effect. Continued use of Robot Goose after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Dispute Resolution
Before pursuing any legal action, you agree to contact us at support@robotgoose.com and allow 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
General
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DeMartini Studios LLC regarding Robot Goose.
